A key factor behind OTEXA\u2019s success is its strong collaboration with industry associations and individual companies in the sector.<\/span><\/p><p><span>OTEXA is administered by the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Textiles, Consumer Goods, and Materials, who also chairs the Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements (CITA).<\/span><a title=\"Tekstil Anla\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n Uygulanmas\u0131 Komitesi\" href=\"https:\/\/www.trade.gov\/committee-implementation-textile-agreements\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"4d46db67-61a3-4075-a748-ff6e0accc34d\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>(CITA)<\/span><\/a><span>CITA is an interagency group responsible for issues affecting textile trade policy. It oversees textile and apparel provisions in free trade agreements and trade preference programs and coordinates efforts to combat illegal textile and apparel transshipment.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span>What Does OTEXA Do?<\/span><\/strong><\/p><ul><li><a title=\"Otexa Trade Data Page\" href=\"https:\/\/www.trade.gov\/otexa-trade-data-page\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"771a273d-a99d-41bf-ac35-8cadae7b3d64\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u><span>Publishing Trade Data<\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/a><span>: Publishes comprehensive import and export statistics for textiles, apparel, footwear, and travel goods.<\/span><\/li><li><a title=\"OTEXA Free Trade Agreements\" href=\"https:\/\/www.trade.gov\/otexa-free-trade-agreements\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"cfb294dc-c2f5-46f7-90a8-c15395a87f45\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u><span>Free Trade Agreements<\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/a><span>: Supports the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) in negotiating trade agreements representing the interests of the fiber, textile, apparel, footwear, and travel goods industries.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><a title=\"Trade Preference Programs\" href=\"https:\/\/www.trade.gov\/trade-preference-programs\" data-entity-type=\"node\" data-entity-uuid=\"99a00c3f-7426-481b-84b4-c77a2d3d1446\" data-entity-substitution=\"canonical\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u><span>Trade Preference Programs<\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/a><span>Manages textile and apparel provisions of trade preference programs including African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), Caribbean Basin Trade Partnership Act (CBTPA), and Haiti HOPE\/HELP programs. OTEXA also administers rules related to commercial availability, anti-circumvention, and folklore provisions and determines annual quota levels.<\/span><\/li><li><a title=\"OTEXA FTA Commercial
