Member companies range from small manufacturing workshops to large multinational corporations. ATA is one of the largest and most comprehensive trade associations serving this sector, delivering significant value to its members.
Our History
On September 12, 1912, fourteen tent and awning manufacturers gathered at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver and founded the National Tent & Awning Association. Manufacturers sought to protect their trade association to establish standard canvas specifications and fair pricing. While these practices would be considered illegal today, they also attempted to unite against the pricing strategies of cotton mills supplying them. Over the following decades, the association expanded its scope and mission and eventually became one of the world’s largest textile trade associations. Today, the Advanced Textiles Association (ATA) is recognized as one of the leading trade organizations in the United States, in terms of membership size, operational scale, and professional influence. ABD’nin önde gelen Ticaret birlikleri arasında yer almaktadır.
