Amazon 2026 Prep Changes & Operational Requirement
Current Status: Amazon as of January 1, 2026, has announced the termination of its internal “FBA Prep & Labeling” services across the United States. Starting from this date, products must be processed by an external 3PL service provider before entering FBA warehouses — this is now an operational requirement.

What does it mean that Lonca is “Ministry Approved”?
Lonca is an accredited company listed under the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye’s approved “Order Fulfillment Service Providers.” For your storage and fulfillment expenses through Lonca, you may recover a significant portion (50–70%) through government e-export incentive programs. Our team guides you through the entire application process.
How can I avoid Amazon “Inbound Placement Service” fees?
Amazon may require you to distribute inventory across multiple U.S. fulfillment centers, which results in high “Placement Fee” charges. By working with Lonca, your products are prepared in Amazon-compliant format from a single location (our Houston warehouse) and shipped in consolidated shipments. This helps minimize distribution costs and allows you to use Amazon’s “Minimal Shipment Split” option more efficiently.
Do you provide FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) services?
Yes. Lonca is not just an FBA prep warehouse — we are also a full-service fulfillment center. Orders from your own website (Shopify, WooCommerce) or Amazon FBM can be shipped directly to your end customers. This allows you to continue selling even when your Amazon FBA inventory runs out.
Do you handle “Removal Orders” (inventory removal from Amazon)?
Yes. Unsold, “Unfulfillable,” or high-storage-fee products can be removed from Amazon and transferred to our warehouse. We inspect (inspection service), repackage if necessary, and relist them for sale. This process is often far more profitable than Amazon’s disposal option.
Do you work with oversized products?
Absolutely. Amazon’s “Large Bulky” or “Extra-Large” categories come with significantly higher FBA fees. By storing oversized products in Lonca’s warehouse and shipping them via FBM, you can avoid excessive FBA storage costs and dimensional weight (DIM weight) penalties.
